Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of Chalet Gloribel ("the Property") operated by Chamonix Cycling, a trading name of SARL GLIS ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking and submitting payment, you ("the Guest") agree to these terms. --- 

## 1. Booking Process

All bookings begin with an enquiry submitted through our website or by email. Upon receiving your enquiry, we will review availability and provide a personalised quote based on the number of guests, duration of stay, and any additional services requested. A booking is only confirmed once the quote has been accepted and the required deposit has been received. 

 

## 2. Pricing and Payment -

All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR €). - A deposit of 30% of the total rental price is required to confirm your booking. - The remaining balance (70%) is due no later than 45 days before the arrival date. Full payment must be received 45 days before arrival. - For bookings made less than 45 days before the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking. - Tourist tax is payable in addition to the rental price. The applicable amount of tourist tax will be notified to you upon booking. - We accept payments via Wise transfer, Visa, Mastercard, and direct bank transfer. - Additional services (airport transfers, support vehicles, massage, catering, bike rental, bike mechanics) are provided by third-party suppliers and are charged separately. We will connect you with these suppliers but are not responsible for their pricing or services. 

 

## 3. What Is Included The rental price includes: -

Accommodation at Chalet Gloribel for the agreed dates and number of guests. - Use of all chalet facilities including kitchen, hot tub, garden, TV and games room, secure bike garage, bike pump, washing machine and dryer, and parking. - Bed linen, towels, and basic household supplies. The rental price does not include: - Travel to and from Chamonix. - Food, drink, or restaurant meals. - Additional services listed on our website (marked with an asterisk). - Tourist tax, which is payable in addition to the rental price. The amount will be notified to you upon booking. 

 

## 4. Arrival and Departure -

Check-in time: 5:00 PM - Check-out time: 10:00 AM - Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged by prior agreement, subject to availability. - Access instructions (key collection / lockbox code) will be provided by email prior to your arrival date. 

 

##5. Guest Obligations -

The maximum number of guests must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking. - The Property must be used for holiday accommodation purposes only. - Guests are responsible for leaving the Property in a clean and tidy condition. An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the Property requires excessive cleaning after departure. - Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the Property or its contents during the stay. A security deposit of  may be collected prior to or upon arrival and will be returned within 7 days of departure, less any deductions for damage or excessive cleaning. - Smoking and animals are not permitted inside the Property. - No parties or events are permitted without prior written agreement. - Guests must respect the neighbours and the quiet residential neighbourhood. Excessive noise, particularly after 10:00 PM, is not permitted. 

 

## 6. Liability -

We take every care to ensure the Property is safe and well-maintained. However, we accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during your stay, except where caused by our negligence. - Cycling, hiking, and other outdoor activities undertaken during your stay are at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents arising from these activities. - Third-party services arranged through us are provided by independent suppliers. We act as an introducer only and accept no liability for the quality, safety, or delivery of those services. - We recommend that all guests obtain appropriate travel and activity insurance before their stay. 

## 7. Force Majeure -

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government action, pandemic, or travel restrictions. In such circumstances, we will work with you to reschedule your stay or offer a credit for a future booking. 

##8. Governing Law-

This agreement is governed by French law. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Haute-Savoie, France.
